Workforce Investment Act
Texas’ Training Provider Certification System

The Alamo WorkSource continues to accept applications from training entities for Initial or Subsequent Eligibility under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Entities that are approved by Alamo WorkSource are referred to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for inclusion or retention in Texas’ Eligible Training Provider System (ETPS)

Training provided in the Alamo WorkSource Area, which includes Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson counties, must be in demand occupations identified by Alamo WorkSource as part of the local plan.

Minimum Performance Standards established for initial eligibility include:

	Program Completion Rate 70%
	Program Employment Rate 70%
	Average Employment Wage $9.51
