  • The After School Challenge Program—The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department partners with 8 school districts to provide after school care, homework assistance, tutoring and other school related aid in addition to numerous recreational activities.   • National Association for the Education of Young Children– NAEYC exists for the purpose of leading and consolidating the efforts of individuals and groups working to achieve healthy development and constructive education for all young children. You can access their website at www.naeyc.org

  • National Center for Children in Poverty is a non-profit, non-partisan research and policy organization at Columbia University.   • Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning is a national center focused on strengthening the capacity of child care and Head Start programs to improve the social and emotional outcomes of young children.
