To see if you qualify for subsidized child care, in Bexar County contact the City of San Antonio, Department of Community Initiatives, Children’s Resource Division at (210) 246-5200. If you reside in one of the Alamo Region’s eleven rural counties, contact the Alamo Area Development Corporation at 1-800-204-7905. You may also inquire about subsidized childcare at any one of our Workforce Solutions Alamo Career Centers.

• Go to the City of San Antonio’s website at www.sanantonio.gov. Click on “City Departments” then “Community Initiatives” then “Children’s Resources” then “Child Care Management”

• Go to the Alamo Area Council of Government’s website at www.aacog.com. Click on "WorkSource Development" then "Child Care Assistance Ad."

• Go to the City of San Antonio’s Single Portal of Entry for pre-screening of various child care programs at https://kidfirst.sanantonio.gov.
